Our Garden in 2012
The Electric City Conservatory Community Garden (1403 5th Ave. North) will be opening Saturday May 2. Garden plots are still available so come pick a plot and stay to help with the clean up of the fall and winter debris. This year the plot rental is only $15 and we are waiving the clean up deposit.
This is the River City Harvest Community Garden’s dedicated organic garden; it has been herbicide and pesticide free since 2008.
The plots are relatively small (about 100 sq. ft.) and work well for beginning gardeners, but you are welcome to rent more than one plot. In addition, we have Master Gardener Volunteers available to help through out the growing season if you have growing questions.
We are adding a dedicated flower garden this year!
