TITLE: Nurturing Plants and Growing Knowledge!
DESCRIPTION: Experiential learning experiences outdoors growing plants, understanding nature, and expanding science based knowledge. Hands-on lessons to meet technology, team working, and scientific methods while meeting the standards.

TARGET AUDIENCE: K-12 Educators
DATE: Monday-Tuesday, August 1-2, 2016
TIME: 8:30 a.m.-Noon and 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. daily
LOCATION: Great Falls, MT
SITE: Hampton Inn, 2301 14th St SW (Class will also be commuting to various community gardens.)
ENROLLMENT: Limit of 25 CREDIT: 15 OPI renewal units OR 1 graduate credit through Montana State UniversityNorthern. MSU-N will charge $150.00 for this credit which is paid at the workshop.
EXPENSES: Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.
REGISTRATION POLICY: $40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Participants need to bring a wireless internet capable laptop or wireless device. Portions of course will take place outside in gardens, please be prepared to be outside. Work clothes, hats for the sun, sunscreen, and bug protection, will be useful.
